Dino Melaye got arrested and released by police all in one day
When controversial senator, Dino Melaye took to Twitter early Monday morning to announce his own arrest at the international wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport, the information was met with mixed reactions.
I have just been arrested at the international wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe airport on my way to Morocco for an official engagement sponsored by the Federal Govt after checking in.

We may not fancy Dino’s ways but this approach to dealing with citizens may be described as tyranny on the part of the government, according to these Twitter users.
You may not like Dino Melaye but his current ordeal in the hands of the security agencies empowered by tyrant Buhari calls for condemnation.
Gradually, the tyrant is beginning to use his fangs on all perceived enemies!— Jackson Ude (@jacksonpbn) April 23, 2018
We may not like Dino Melaye’s face but arresting him with Buhariana Police because of his criticism of this government is tyranny taken too far.

The senator was later released in the course of the day but that’s not the end of today’s ordeal. He has documented his treatment in the hands of the Nigerian Police on Twitter, including the arrest of his brother minutes ago:
Over 30 heavily armed fierce looking mobile police men have just stormed My residence in Maitama, Abuja.
All roads leading to House has been condoned off, as heavy mobile police men blocked entry & exit of the road. They currently laid siege on in and around The house.— Senator Dino Melaye. (SDM) (@dino_melaye) April 23, 2018
My brother Moses and his friend have just been arrested by the police in front of my house

Chimamanda is “slightly upset” about Hillary Clinton’s Twitter bio
Feminists and anti-feminism activists on Twitter have had a field day discussing a conversation between celebrated author, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and former US presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton.
At a PEN World Voices Festival lecture at the Cooper Union in Manhattan over the weekend, the two women sat in conversation and Adichie faulted Clinton’s use of the term, “wife” in describing herself on her Twitter bio before anything else.
Adichie said, “In your Twitter account, the first word that describes you is ‘Wife.’ And then I think it’s ‘Mom,’ and then it’s ‘Grandmother. And when I saw that, I have to confess that I felt just a little bit upset. And then I went and I looked at your husband’s Twitter account, and the first word was not ‘husband'”.
Clinton jokingly replied that she was going to change it but when on to clarify, “It shouldn’t be either/or. It should be that if you are someone who is defining yourself by what you do and what you accomplish, and that is satisfying, then more power to you. That is how you should be thinking about your life, and living it. If you are someone who primarily defines your life in relationship to others, then more power to you”.
This brief conversation has Twitter users divided. See the reactions:

Cheers to forever missing the point:
President Buhari travelled to UK and disgraced us.
Chimamanda Adichie travelled to New York and disgraced us too.
And you people think it was not God's plan for Police to arrest Dino Melaye at the airport, as he was about travelling out of Nigeria this morning?

Kate Middleton and Prince William welcome their third child and it’s a boy
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge today welcomed their third child, the newest addition to the royal family.
Kensington Palace tweeted that the Duchess, Kate Middleton “was admitted to St. Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, London earlier this morning in the early stages of labour.”
The prince’ arrival was announced three hours later via the same channel:
Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a son at 1101hrs.
The baby weighs 8lbs 7oz.
The Duke of Cambridge was present for the birth.
Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well.

Updates have it that the Duke, Duchess and the new Prince have now returned to Kensington Palace.
Now here’s the juicy part! Questions have been raised on what the baby’s name will be and why Kate Middleton usually leaves the hospital so early post-deliver… well, the ways of royalty are not the ways of mere men!
Twitter user, Pablo Ayodeji needs help but…
His sins are so many, a lot of other users have chosen to take his current situation so lightly.
Pablo Ayodeji (of the 5k bae fame), who has over time confessed to scamming unsuspecting users of money, recently tweeted that he was about to end his own life but rather than rush to his rescue, here’s how that scary information was received:

A few compassionate individuals tweeted in rescue:
I know that Pablo person has threatened suicide a few times and is generally a horrible human being, but whether he is serious or not this time, I plead with those who can reach him to try and get him committed to a psychiatric institution. He needs help. Desperately.
