This Chrisland School rape story is disturbing
Barely 2 weeks after American gymnastics team doctor, Larry Nassar was convicted for serial child molestation following a very emotional and traumatising trial, another paedophile has been located and this time, it is so close to home, it hurts.
47-year-old Adegboyega Adenekan, a supervisor at Chrisland School, Lekki is being accused of allegedly defiling a 2 year 11 months old pupil and a video depicting the act was played at the Ikeja Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Court yesterday.
From the recording, the child was asked to draw the accused’s private part and it did look like a penis when she was done. She described it as wee wee and when asked if the accused put his wee wee in hers, she said “Yes”.
She also said to the teddy bear used in depicting the accused in the video, “Your bum bum is delicious, your bum bum is sweet, I will eat your bum bum.”
The child has been said to be exhibiting aggressive behaviour, sleeping problems and fear.
How Twitter reacted…
The Chrisland rape case has drawn a lot of anger, pity and frustration from members of the public and in between it all, we have come across a number of people who opine that an incoherent 2-year-old should not be taken seriously.
A lot of the anger has been directed at Chrisland School for not yet relieving the accused Mr Adenekan of his position in the school and even going as far as hiring a SAN to defend him in court.
See some of the reactions:
Fancy buildings, posh staff and nice websites and curriculum does not make a school. Has Chrisland even put out a statement? Nope! Fired the teachers of those girls and done Child Abuse Prevention training for the rest? Nope! Nothing! It's all about "don't spoil my business"

To think some parents pay exorbitant fees to schools such as Chrisland School with the mindset that they have their acts together. I'm pained to the pit of my belly.
U try to do everything right by ur child. Still, U will be forced to weep for things that are beyond ur control.

In a civilized society, the board of Chrisland would be removed, school temporarily shutdown to conduct extensive investigations as to the scope of his heinous crime, reopens under the strictest conditions concerning staff.
But yeah, this is ain’t a civilized society.

This last tweet makes us shudder!
Senator Shehu Sani is doing the most
Since the story of the mysterious snake that swallowed 36 million naira from the vault at the JAMB account office became an actual thing, we’ve been treated to memes, ‘parody snake accounts’ and all sorts of snake madness.
Today, Senator Shehu Sani representing Kaduna Central in the National Assembly visited the JAMB headquarters in FCT, Abuja with snake charmers in tow. Mission: to fish out the snake and weed out snakes from their premises.
The Senator said, “Even if it is a spiritual matter, we believe that these people I brought are some of the best snake charmers in the country and they will help in arresting both physical and spiritual snakes if there has been any in the JAMB office.”
Should we thank the Senator for this gesture or just conclude that this country is a huge joke?
You need to see President Obama’s official portrait
…more because it was painted by a Nigerian.
Yes, Nigerians are winning all over the world and former US President, Barack Obama’s newly unveiled official portrait is a testament.
Painted by New York-based Nigerian artist, Kehinde Wiley, the portrait was unveiled on Monday at the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery.
Obama is now the first African-American president to have a portrait in the National Portrait Gallery while Wiley is the first African-American artist to paint an official presidential portrait.
Talk about life goals!
