Shared via Twitter, the president confirms that his government previously lied when it claimed some of the girls had been released yesterday.
TwitterNG reacts to the #DapchiGirls abduction
It is a nightmare for every Nigerian who has clamoured for years for the return of the remaining kidnapped Chibok girls to witness another abduction of schoolgirls in 2018.
Nigerians are furious, disappointed and frustrated by the sheer ineptitude of our government and this time, the onus is on President Buhari to ensure the #DapchiGirls are found and returned to their families.
See their reactions:
I beg of you all, please put the politics aside. Chibok was bad enough. Let’s all pray for the #DapchiGirls to be rescued.

On a week when President Buhari boasted that he had fulfilled his 2 biggest campaign promises of Security and Anti Corruption, The #DapchiGirls incident and Transparency International’s latest CPI showed him the limits of propaganda. Mr. President, you have FAILED on those scores

President .@mbuhari ,
Where are our #DapchiGirls?
Why are their TRAUMATIZED parents sending messages of being muzzled into SILENCE?
Why has the FG @asorock FAILED to present the FACTS of this REPEAT TRAGEDY to Nigerians? Why?— Oby Ezekwesili (@obyezeks) February 23, 2018
We beg you in the name of God, don’t handle this #DapchiGirls kidnap the way you’re handling fuel scarcity; we know you’re “not in a hurry to do anything” , but swiftness is needed here.
Lead from the front for once Mr President @MBuhari , innocent lives are at stake! https://t.co/PY95Fylppl— Somto Onuchukwu (@chosensomto) February 22, 2018
Ellen Degeneres made Tiffany Haddish’s dreams come true
Who wouldn’t be grateful for the gift of Oprah?!
You should see how Girls Trip actress and stand-up comedian, Tiffany Haddish reacted when Oprah Winfrey made a surprise appearance at The Ellen Show years after she had attempted to get the media mogul’s attention with a letter.

LOL. We can never take Tiffany Haddish seriously!
Nigerians are super proud of the bobsled ladies
On one hand, it’s amazing that three Nigerian ladies decided to represent the country in the Olympics with zero support from the government; on the other hand, it’s terrific that they’re actually representing in the Winter Olympics when Nigeria has never seen snow.
The trio of Seun Adigun, Ngozi Onwumere and Akuoma Omeoga made history by giving Africa and particularly Nigeria a debut appearance at the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea.
Although they finished in last position, Nigerians are super proud of the team and this tweet sums up how we all feel:
Nigeria is the 20th best bobsleigh team in the World…and we dont even have snow! 🤷🏼♀️ CONGRATULATIONS!! 🇳🇬🙋🏼♀️ https://t.co/ct5bdlAyZm
