Pope Francis went about doing wonders as he journeyed to Chile

The Pope is all over the news today for all shades of cute reasons.

First, Pope Francis joined a couple in holy matrimony aboard his flight to Chile. It’s one thing to get married mid-air and then another memorable experience altogether to be married by the Pope. Wow!

The impromptu wedding ceremony was triggered after the couple who are both flight attendants got into a brief conversation with the Pope after taking a group photo.

Although they have two children, their wedding plans were thwarted after the earthquake that hit Chile in 2010. Pope Francis then went ahead to bless them, presented them a certificate that was quickly drafted and gave both of them rosaries.

Like that wasn’t enough, he stopped and got off his Popemobile to help a female police officer who fell off her horse in a procession in Chile.

Bashir Ahmad says Reuters is lying

Earlier today, news agency, Reuters reported that President Buhari is not sure he will be running in the 2019 elections. According to the report, President Buhari made the statement in a radio interview.

Later in the day though, one of the President’s spokesmen, Bashir Ahmed tweeted a rebuttal claiming the radio interview spoken of never happened.

Is the president attending to the so-called pressing issues on his desk though? We do not think so.

Lupita Nyong’o will now add author to her list of accomplishments

Your favourite actress’ WCW is set to release a children’s book titled Sulwe.

She shared details of the new book via her Instagram account adding that it will be released in January 2019.

“I am pleased to reveal that I have written a children’s book! It’s called “Sulwe”! Sulwe is a dark skinned girl who goes on a starry-eyed adventure, and awakens with a reimagined sense of beauty. She encounters lessons that we learn as children and spend our lives unlearning. This is a story for little ones, but no matter the age I hope it serves as an inspiration for everyone to walk with joy in their own skin.”

It’s a children’s book but best believe, we can’t wait to get a hold of it.

This Facebook user shares his experience with a HR personnel and we’re completely appalled…

It’s sad that this story is totally relatable. We should all do better, really.
