Jimi Agbaje declares interest in Lagos gubernatorial race
Barely five months to the Lagos state gubernatorial election, two-time aspirant, Jimi Agbaje has announced his intention to contest for the highest seat in the state.
Set to run under the umbrella of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Agbaje said, “I bought and submitted my nomination form shortly before it closed. I will be part of the PDP Lagos governorship primaries, billed for Friday, Sept 28th.”
Because his belated intention to run comes as a surprise, Agbaje explained, “It is true that initially, I did not want to re-contest, but I had so many people urging me to run”.
Does Jimi Agbaje stand a chance in 2019? Twitter electorates have something to say:
Someone needs to remind Jimi Agbaje that this method of waking up a few months to every election year and then announcing to run is a time-tested guaranteed way to lose the election.
You can’t practically be in political oblivion for 3 years and just assume you remain relevant.

Does everyone still love JK? Can’t help but remember that “Everybody loves Jimi Agbaje” jingle now that I hear that he’s back from the cave.
Baba didn’t utter a word for 3years+ cos he’s only trying to prove that “I AM NOT ONE OF THEM”. LOL! pic.twitter.com/WodCxOG3M2

Jimi Agbaje will beat Sanwoolu hands down in a debate again but you people will carry your thumbs and vote for Sanwoolu.
Slaves of bourdillon.

Jimi Agbaje will hibernate for 3 years.. and wake up 5 months to Election just to announce this Ambition to contest for Governorship.
That man surely has lots money for Campaigns. 😁

Why don’t some people understand that you don’t just wait for the next election before making yourself the alternative to the incumbent? People must SEE you as that alternative long before the polls. They won’t see you if you hide and hibernate till election. This is not hard!

Nigeria Air suspended indefinitely
Dead before arrival?
Nigeria’s Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, announced on Wednesday that the Federal Government has suspended the national carrier project indefinitely. He gave no reasons.
I regret to announce that the Federal Executive Council has taken the tough decision to suspend the National Carrier Project in the interim. All commitments due will be honoured. We thank the public for the support as always.🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬

Recall that the unveiling of the national carrier and its logo was followed by major criticisms from Nigerians who argued that the country is not ready for such. Some even genuinely hoped it would fail. See how they react to this development:
Nigeria Air operations has been suspended indefinitely by the Federal Government. Another successful scam well executed. Congratulations everyone. Wo get wa again. 😫

I was honestly rooting that we were finally going to get it right with the launch of Nigeria Air but unfortunately it’s gone with the wind.
How is it that we always get things wrong in this country?

So shameful Nigeria Air has finally gone the way Madam @obyezeks predicted. @MBuhari and @OfficialAPCNg are the biggest scam of the 21st century.

After all the money spent no Nigeria Air….when they said they were bringing change they meant they’ll steal all our money and leave us with the (you guessed right) change
