Lagos Business School (LBS) in partnership with Duke Corporate Education, South Africa will be hosting a group of delegates for the 2018 edition of the International Executive Development Programme (IEDP) from Monday, May 21 to Friday, May 25, 2018.
Organised by the Banking Sector Education and Training Authority (BANKSETA), the five-day event will immerse delegates into the Nigerian business environment through action-based learning facilitated by business leaders and members of the LBS faculty.
The programme will serve as the second study block for the South African delegates who are spread across the investment banking and finance sectors. Themed “The Changing World of Global Finance,” delegates will be acquainted with the agility and core knowledge capabilities needed to operate in an emerging market like Nigeria.
Other days will be characterised by visits to the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE), Zenith Capital, Coronation Capital, and Innovation Hub.
LBS faculty members, Dr Franklin Ngwu, Dr Doyin Salami and Dr Bongo Adi will be joined by other industry leaders, as they discuss investment banking in emerging markets, key economic issues in Nigeria’s business environment and internalisation of Nigerian banks among others.
This is the third consecutive year LBS will host the BANKSETA training as part of its customs executive education. The School has run experiential learning programmes for organisations such as Stanbic IBTC, FBN Quest, NLNG in the past.
