Big Brother Naija returns for fourth edition with a twist
The biggest reality television show in Nigeria is back… but this time, it returns with an unexpected twist that leaves many wondering how it will be pulled off.
Over the years, the reality show has been staged in South Africa but this year, it is coming to Nigeria. What part? That detail is yet to be announced but what we know is that auditions will hold on February 1 and 2.
Another major detail that has changed is that PayPorte will not be sponsoring this year’s show. Online betting company, Bet9ja has been announced as the official headline sponsor for #BBNaija2019.
The best part of today’s announcement? Ebuka Obi-Uchendu will be returning as host.
But here is a major concern:
Falz’s opinion on transactional sex and his newly released album has a ripple effect on his fans
Nigerian singer and activist, Falz recently released a new single ‘Talk’ where he mentioned prostitution as a societal ill, among others like corruption, bribery, etc.
Over time, Falz has been labelled as one of those artistes who use their music to shame women and their choices. Falz is not afraid to stand up for his beliefs so at his album listening party, the singer let it out again, “I hate transactional sex”.
Between his opinion, the single ‘Talk’, the album ‘Moral Instruction’ that followed, here is how Twitter Nigeria is reacting to all of it:
