According to Lai Mohammed, FG spends N3.5m on feeding Shiite leader, El Zakzaky per month

Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed has said the Federal Government spends a whopping N3.5 million on feeding leader of Islamic Movement of Nigeria, Ibrahim el-Zakzaky every month.

Zakzaky has been in the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS) since December 2015 when he was arrested after his followers attacked the convoy of the Chief of Army Staff, Tukur Buratai, in Kaduna.

Although the Minister specifically asked to not be quoted, here’s what he said:

Known for his tendency to sometimes bend facts, Nigerians have reacted to Minister Lai’s ridiculous claims:

The depth of the Nkwobi bowl has caused contention on and off social media for years. In 2015, Twitter user, @chydee made a request of President Muhammadu Buhari just before his swearing in but unfortunately, the matter still lingers as the president has failed to address it.

So another Twitter user has decided to push the matter to PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar:

We think it is a valid concern.

Big Brother Naija housemate, K.Brule survives car accident

Reality television show, Big Brother Naija season 3 housemate, K.Brule shared photos from an accident that nearly claimed his life.

He’s back on his feet now and he wrote on Instagram:

“On Sunday morning the 4th November at around 6am my car experienced a blowout instinctively causing me to apply the brakes, which is the last thing I remember.
Eye witnesses say my vehicle spun out and somersaulted over a road divide into oncoming traffic where I was struck by another vehicle causing my car to flip multiple times back across the road divide. Luckily no lives where lost but both vehicles are total write offs.
I praise & thank God for being faithful & sparing our lives. Due to the nature of the crash the blame falls on me. & I have no idea how I will pay the damages and hospital bills for the other party but at least I’m alive to worry about these things 😀
please keep me in your prayers during these trying times. I may be hard to reach for a while as my phones were destroyed in the crash.”
