Between Innoson Motors, GTBank and the EFCC
The Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Group, Innocent Chukwuma was recently arrested by the EFCC in what a statement from his company describes as “an illegal bundling to Lagos”.
Innoson was reportedly granted a loan by GTBank to the tune of N2.4 billion to part finance working capital requirements, import new motorcycles and motorcycle spare parts, etc. According to GTbank, the agreement is that the bank would be the “exclusive owner of the imported goods” and it appears Mr Innoson is no longer with that plan
The details on Twitter are sketchy but some users claim the bank has deducted over N7 million from Innoson’ account in the last seven years.
It was alleged that GTB deducted N786,205,955.99 as bank charges from Innoson’s Account between March 2004 to December 2011.

Innoson Motors vs GTB is a pretty interesting case to look into.
Let's take Innoson's version of events.
In 2012, GTB debited Innoson's current account to the tune of N700 million.
Despite asking GTB to reverse the charges, GTB remained resolute— Lord of the idiots (@Olumuyiwa__) December 19, 2017
